The Opportunities

CRAFTSMAN+ is looking for Freelance Designers with a diverse set of skills and experience developing digital assets for high-end gaming and brand clients. Our  projects will have you working to help us create amazing ads for websites and social platforms. This is an opportunity to be a part of a fast-paced, and exciting work environment. We are a startup, so flexibility and the ability to adapt to quickly changing situations will be crucial. 

We have different opportunities for creatives with different skill sets and levels of experience, so the set of responsibilities below are broad to cover all skill sets and levels. The Responsibilities

General

• Translate client and CM+’s strategy into powerful and purposeful creative concepts.
• You will be creating performance marketing creatives (e.g., acquisition, subscription) especially in paid social, interactive ads, and display.

Graphic Designers 

• Develop static ads and key art be used on websites and social ads. 
• Resizing and Localization of graphic design to be used across multiple platforms and markets. 

Motion Designers 

• Create storyboards for exciting brands and high-end gaming concepts based on direction from our Art Directors. 
• Develop motion ads (video, cinemagraphs) to be used on websites and social ads. 
• Resizing and Localization of motion design to be used across multiple platforms and markets. 

Copywriting 

• Create compelling copy for exciting brands and high-end gaming concepts based on direction from our Art Directors. 
• Assist our internal marketing team on copy for CRAFTSMAN+ marketing tasks (social posts, website copy, blog posts, etc.)

Interactive Ad Design

• Assist our playable team in the creation of engaging interactive ads for exciting brands or internal use. 
• Use our platform, CRAFTSMAN Play, to create playable ads for high-caliber clients. 

Production

• Work with our current production team to produce UGC content for exciting brands.
• Manage other projects as needed.

The Required Skills and Experience 

• 3-5 years of professional work experience.
• Top-tier design chops. You are a master of your craft. 
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite,  After Effects and Photoshop, Adobe Creative Cloud, Maxon, and/or Frame.io 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Commitment and ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

The Desirable Skills and Experiences

• Experience in performance marketing.
• Experience in Cinema 4D, Sketch, Google Web Designer, video editing and basic HTML & CSS skills are a plus.
• Passion for games and brands!

Rates and Benefits

• Rates can vary depending on the project, time commitment and skill level. 
• You would be working 100% remote with a crew of super gnarly people!
