What the Job Is

The Production Coordinator tackles a wide variety of initiatives, workstreams, and projects that call for critical thinking, creativity, and proactive communication. They assist producers in the flow from asset management, to creative briefings, to project management. They’re results-oriented and enjoy working with others to achieve shared goals. The Project Coordinator cares about their team and their clients and possesses knowledge of producing creative media for social channels. They channel creative visions into structured projects that contribute to top-line revenue and they’re adept at keeping them on track.


  • Assist in the development of detailed project plans to monitor and track progress.
  • Use and continually develop leadership skills by managing internal resources and third parties/vendors during the lifespan of projects.
  • Store and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget. Be proactive with risk mitigation, flagging to your Producers and management if projects are not on track 
  • Quality assurance and detailed review of creative assets prior to sharing with clients 
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs if they arise as directed by production leads..
  • Identify risks and raise to management alongside proactive plans for how they seek to resolve issues that arise
  • Participate in quality issue resolution.
  • Continually assess that project goals and benefits are being met.
  • Provide regular project status reports.
  • Attend conferences and training as required to maintain proficiency.
  •  Work with producers to handle client communication when needed. Project coordinator should be comfortable speaking to deliveries and timelines on calls with clients.
  • Work with producers on accounts to nurture and maintain the client relationship, ensuring client satisfaction and retention
  • Develop and implement a good understanding of project management principles, methods and techniques.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Organized with attention to detail.
  • Excellent analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Desire to work in a post-production environment, this role has minimal live production work.
  • Experience with the production of ad campaigns containing motion graphics, video, animation, and illustration. 
  • Managing internal and external teams.
  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Education and Experience:

  • 1 years+ in a Project Manager/Producer role required
